Dr. Sam Coley is an Associate Professor, researching radio / popular culture at Birmingham City University in the UK. He is the Course Leader for the MA in Media Production, and teaches a range of undergraduate and postgraduate audio production classes for the College of English and Media. Coley is a Trustee of the Charles Parker Archive Trust, an academic member of the ‘Athens Institute for Education and Research’ (ATINER), part of the Birmingham Centre for Media and Cultural Research, and has served on the Grand Jury of the New York Radio Festival since 2012. He continues to work as a freelance music documentary producer. This website features a range of his production work and academic output.
