This audio was originally recorded back in 1999 when I was commissioned by John Reese, Director of the travel company “France The French Way”, to accompany him on a tour of Provence. The job was to capture atmospheric sounds and interview the various people we encountered on the way. It was a dream assignment… Although we initially planned to use the audio as part of a “talking maps” concept – it finally ended up as a Youtube marketing tool for John’s company. I took the majority of the photos ten years later in 2009, revisiting my earlier footsteps while on holiday in Provence.
