Yves Saint Laurent’s Majorelle Gardens, Marrakech
In 1980, Pierre Bergé and Yves Saint Laurent purchased the Majorelle Gardens in Marrakech, Morocco – which were originally designed by a French painter Jacques Majorelle in 1919.
This slideshow pays tribute to these spectacular gardens (a must for anyone visiting Marrakech) – where French fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent ( who died in June, 2008) had his ashes scattered.
