Mash Up: Pharrell Williams vs. Michael Nesmith

I always loved the Micheal Nesmith song “Lucy and Ramona and Sunset Sam” since I first heard it on Christchurch’s Radio Avon back in 1979. A few years later I managed to find it on a cassette copy of “20 Solid Gold Hits Volume 24″ – along with the epic “Baby It’s You” by Promises. It’s a great bass loop – with a very cool chunky guitar over the top. Seemed to fit well with an acapella of Pharrell’s “Can I have it like that?”. Although the Youtube comment “The original smokes this” posted by “BillyVA45″  – obviously begs to differ. He’s got a point.
